Craniosacral Therapy Testimonials That Prove Its Effectiveness

Craniosacral therapy has become increasingly known as an effective treatment for various physical and mental health concerns. As a Utah-based craniosacral therapist, I’ve seen firsthand how CST has brought relief and healing to multiple clients over the years.

Below are a few craniosacral therapy success stories that could become your own if you’re willing to try CST for yourself:

The Suffering New Born

A few weeks ago, a young mother brought her baby to me for craniosacral therapy. Her tiny son had been struggling with painful gas and spitting up, and they’d tried going to the pediatrician, chiropractor, and lactation consultant without success. Within an hour of their visit, we had figured out the cause of her baby’s painful airy tummy and relentless spitting up. I gave the baby’s mom basic training on assisting her nursing baby and sent them on their way. When they returned for their follow-up the next week, her infant was calm, feeding with ease and speed, and the gas and reflux had reduced dramatically. This all happened within one week of craniosacral therapy.

All those practitioners, in their own right, do an excellent job of providing the answers they have for most babies. However, many babies struggle with feeding anomalies that are difficult to pinpoint despite medical intervention. CST, developed almost 40 years ago, is the link that has rescued countless parents from weeks of frustration, sleeplessness, and worry over their struggling infants.

Pain For Years

Many of my clients find craniosacral therapy out of desperation, and it’s the most common reason people seek out alternative therapies like this one rather than traditional medicine. People who’ve suffered from chronic pain for as long as they can remember come to me depleted of energy and hope that they can return to the everyday lives they once had. Oftentimes, they’re tired of being told that nothing can be done, exhausted from resorting to pain meds because nothing else they’ve tried has worked. Fortunately, craniosacral therapy has been the answer for most of these people.

Since CST works directly with the nervous system, it has yielded marvelous results for those experiencing chronic pain and other life-interrupting illnesses. While the client is on a massage table for an hour, CST's gentle and light-touch techniques can result in life-changing, pain-free days ahead. It may take years to get to the point of nagging chronic and limiting pain, but it doesn’t have to take years to relieve it for good. Craniosacral therapy has been the healing answer many people who’ve walked through my doors have been seeking.

Their Faces Say It All

Several clients come to me for craniosacral therapy for a number of different conditions and ailments, finishing their treatments with complete healing. When I began practicing the therapy, I didn’t expect to help so many people who were seeking help for illnesses that had unknown origins of pain. Could it be an injury they didn’t remember? Or is it a genetic anomaly that pops up at a certain age? My clients often come to me with several questions and no answers. When someone tells me they don’t know why or how they got to this place of no answers, it’s my job as a craniosacral therapist to help them feel better and turn their story of pain into a success story of healing.

When I first started practicing CST, I felt intimidated by the task until I reminded myself that it’s not my job to find out what’s wrong but to practice what I had been trained to do: let go and allow. That’s become my mantra now. I can interview a client and try to piece together what could be wrong, or I could use CST techniques to follow the tissues of the body and let them direct me to the source of pain. I have no agenda or expectations for an outcome when working with clients. In fact, the first thing I was taught when I began training for craniosacral therapy was to leave myself out of the scenario, only thinking of myself as a facilitator of the natural healing process.

By letting go and asking my clients to surrender their need for an answer, together, we can delve into all the possibilities. With curious exploration and treatment, some dialoguing, and a few tears, I’ve been honored to witness the transformation from resigned to that spark of hope that brings people alive again. There are no words to describe that look when my clients get off the table with a lightened demeanor and genuine smile. Craniosacral therapy has proven to be a gift to countless people, and I feel honored to be practicing it and helping several clients who come to me seeking healing.
